Dave was My oldest Brother's oldest son... He was such a Cool Dude, Son, Grandson, Nephew, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Friend and an Outstanding Father & Daddy! He LOved and was Good at Baseball, Basketball, and Football! He also was a Good Barber and cutting hair was his Hustle... But his True Passion was Rapping, Writing, Producing & Mixing... He was well known through out "OakTown" (Oakland, California) as "SMAVE DA' TURF CELEBRITY"... A Young & Up & Coming Star was on his Way and Nothing Could Stop him.... Or so We Thought
But on March 4, 2004, 5 days before his 28th Birthday My Nephew just Didn't Wake Up... No Drugs, No Fowl Play... His Heart just Stop Beating.
It was a Shock to Our Family, Friends & his Children (InJende', Yahdae' & Oronde') who were 6, 3 & 18months at the time. Hr LOved his Children and they LOved him and to see him was to see them.
Though Dave is No longer with Us, his Legacy lives on through his Kids!
I can Not believe it has been 10yrs... Time Flies whether You're Having Fun or Not! And Time Waits On No One!
We Miss & LOve You Man, Yet We Know How BLESSED We were to Have You for the time that We did... And May You Continue to Rest In the Awesome Power Of Peace!!!
